People also use Kinsey Vintage Market as a venue to host incredible events. In Oakdale, plenty of incredible dining opportunities exist to satisfy its residents.

Oakdale always provides its locals with some kind of fun activity to do. One of the greatest aspects of living in Oakdale is attending community-wide events that are perfect for family outings. There are holiday celebrations such as the Light Up Night, which includes a guest appearance by Santa Claus. There are fall decorating competitions and an elaborate Halloween parade as well. Truly, there are endless fun events in Oakdale for people of all ages to enjoy. 

In addition, the Pittsburgh Botanic Gardens have stunning nature and art exhibitions throughout the year. They are even more beautiful during the holidays when lit with light displays. History buffs will also love the Walker-Ewing Log House, a family home dating back to 1795. The West Allegheny Community Library is also a wonderful spot for those who enjoy reading at no cost.
